Golden Rice earns positive feedback through social media campaign
Thank you for making our latest social media campaign a success! Since the campaign launch in July to commemorate the milestone approval of Golden Rice for commercial propagation in the Philippines, the official Facebook Page has already gained 13,729 followers; reached 366,312 users; and registered 7,404 engagements.
Through this campaign, we have reached both global and local audiences, and amplified the TV and radio engagements of Golden Rice spokespersons. Since then, champions from the government and farmer groups have expressed their support through press releases and opinion pieces, while netizens shared positive feedback through social media posts.
